Kenneth Clein is a Principal in QEA’s Ann Arbor office. Prior to joining the Firm, he held design and planning positions at regional architectural practices in Ann Arbor, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Detroit. He’s passionate about collaborating with clients to solve problems and create wonderful, lively places.
Drawing inspiration from such icons as Kerian-Timberlake, Louis and Albert Kahn, Alvar Aalto, Daniel Burnham, Ken has worked with a variety of clients, including corporations, municipalities, educational and non-profit institutions. Among his favorite projects at the Firm are the work on the Hill Auditorium, Ann Arbor Municipal Center and Zingerman’s. “They probably shaved a few years off my life expectancy,” he jokes, “but working with these clients was extremely rewarding.”
