Patrick Roach brings a high level of design, technical and communication skills to each project. With 19 years of experience in architecture and the renovation of existing structures, Patrick understands the challenges of adaptive re-use projects and design within the context of existing built environments.
Of the many projects Patrick has worked on at QEA, he points to the restoration of the Grand Rapids Civic Theater and surrounding buildings as one of the most satisfying. “The project presented significant design and logistical challenges, including completely reconfiguring circulation systems, the balcony and patron amenities, and interconnecting several buildings, all within a five-month window. More importantly, the project was a resounding success.”
