Grant Available to Fund Historic Preservation Project

Tuesday, January 10, 2012

The Michigan Architectural Foundation is now accepting applications for the Evans Memorial Grant for Historic Preservation. The grant is named for QEA founder David Evans, FAIA, who saw building restoration as a key element in successful downtown economic revivals.

This grant encourages proposals that seek to reuse a historic property. A grant of $7,500 will be awarded to a not-for-profit (501(c)(3) organization that can demonstrate a creative solution to a preservation problem.

Visit the Michigan Archiectural Foundation website for more information and the application.
