The new Living Learning Residence Hall 6, the 175-bed residence hall is designed utilizing the University’s Deaf Space Guidelines, will serve as a model and sets the tone for deaf architecture. The project, now under construction, is being led by Quinn Evans Architects as architect-of-record on the competition-winning Design/Build Team with LTL Architects and Sigal Construction. The Michigan Architectural Foundation is now accepting applications for the Evans Memorial Grant for Historic Preservation. The grant is named for QEA founder David Evans, FAIA, who saw building restoration as a key element in successful downtown economic revivals.
