Jim Mumby brings expertise in the design of public libraries. He has dedicated his career to exploring and improving library planning and design processes with the goal of establishing libraries as true centers of community.
He derives satisfaction from creating built environments that influence the user experience which, ultimately, results in a positive long lasting environment. He brings his passion for community and an open mind to each endeavor drawing on influences across the ages - from the ancient Greeks at the Temple of Athena Nike atop the Acropolis, to the inherently structural yet decorative work of Antonio Gaudi seen throughout Barcelona, and the work of Finnish architect Alvar Aalto which is grounded in culture.
