Over the course of the last quarter century, Quinn Evans Architects has created hundreds of tailor-made design solutions in architecture, preservation, planning and sustainable design. In fact, we have been recognized by our industry’s most prestigious organizations for our work on many of the country’s most iconic structures. Our work includes structures of every size — from our state-of-the-art restoration of a modestly-scaled Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian home to the wholesale transformation and revitalization of a major urban university’s “main street.”

Cultural

Using an inclusive collaborative process that brings together clients, artists and the public, we have created memorable, enduring designs for a wide range of community arts facilities, performance and exhibition spaces, historic houses, preeminent museums, visitor centers and other cultural sites.

Civic

We have collaborated closely with the General Services Administration, the National Park Service and a variety of clients at the federal, state and municipal levels. Through these relationships, we have worked on some of the country’s most treasured and recognizable landmarks, and have also created significant new structures to meet the needs of citizens and their government.

Higher Education

We are leaders in the preservation, adaptive reuse, renovation and expansion of university facilities. Our projects include work on some of the nation’s most highly-regarded campuses, and range from programming studies to comprehensive modernizations and context-sensitive additions that create a more a vibrant campus life and sense of community.

Neighborhoods & Communities

Through our work on schools, places of worship, community centers and other local and urban sites, we design solutions that improve the quality of life and revitalize neighborhoods and communities. Our goal is to celebrate community landmarks, making them integral to the fabric of their urban neighborhood. This philosophy results in an appropriate blend of old and new that creates vibrant, interesting and humane places to live, work and play.
