As the University’s chief performance venue, Pease Auditorium plays a central role in the life of the campus. QEA has helped to modernize this venerable building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, while restoring many of the architectural details that had been lost since its 1914 construction. We restored the building’s historic façade and created a new entrance for barrier-free access; meanwhile, we transformed the Beaux-Arts auditorium’s stage shell and organ pipes to enlarge the stage area.
