This inn, located in the East Ferry Street Historic District, combines four historic houses and two carriage barns into a unique and historic 42-room boutique hotel. While heading her own firm, QEA Principal Elisabeth Knibbe led an award-winning project that restored much of the houses’ exterior and interior historic character. The major rehabilitation effort balanced a respectful treatment of the houses’ character while providing modern amenities and meeting all current code requirements.
