“AIA membership has reached a historic high with more than 88,000 members. It is the right time to turn AIA’s attention outward to the challenges and opportunities in a world of profound and accelerating change. Architects shape lives. Human dimensions are what matter most in the evolving value of architecture. Moving forward, “repositioning” the profession and Institute will require supporting innovative practice and strengthening the profession by attracting and retaining an inspired, talented and diverse workforce.”
