As the holiday season begins, we recognize that sharing our time and ourselves is an important part of giving.

21 years ago, in partnership with local Boys & Girls Clubs across America, Herman Miller created a national event with the sole purpose of bringing all the best of the season to over 6,000 children in multiple cities in the United States. WeCare takes place every December with the help of over 200 of the best interior design firms in the country.

“Children from disadvantaged circumstances often miss out on the joy and good cheer of the holiday season, and for many of them, making these crafts is the only way they can give presents to their loved ones.”

Members of the Quinn Evans Architects family joined many others in the interior design industry for a beautiful afternoon in Detroit. QEA and Atlas Carpet provided hot chocolate gift crafts for children in the Detroit area to give to their families.

Participation in this year's event by Quinn Evans Architects, was championed by Interior Designer, Fatima Beacham and members of QEA's Giving Back Team; Cara Soh, Karin Neubauer, and Angela Wyrembelski. Their exemplary commitment to service inspires all of us here at QEA.

I am incredibly proud that QEA took the opportunity to be part of this event to make a difference on each of those kids for the day. We are so happy to participate again and to start the holiday season giving a special day to those well deserved kids.

Cheers to you and Happy Holidays!
