Crain's Detroit Business, MLive, and WXYZ Detroit were just some of the media outlets to come out to cover the groundbreaking of Elton Park in Detroit's Corktown neighborhood. Detroit-based Soave Enterprises is spearheading the 6 building, 150-unit development, which will cover 4.3 acres, most of which is currently vacant land. QEA has been working alongside Soave to redevelop and adapt the historic Checker Cab Building to serve as the anchor of the new development. Construction began on Monday, May 8th.

"Monday's groundbreaking will kick off the $45-million first phase of the project, according to Soave. The development will include six buildings with 151 rental units totalling 124,000 square feet of space."
