Patti Kuhn Babin, a historic preservation specialist with extensive experience in the Mid-Atlantic, has joined the Washington, D.C., office of Quinn Evans Architects as an architectural historian. Kuhn Babin has researched, produced reports, and prepared National Register of Historic Places nominations for dozens of landmark properties, battlefields, cemeteries, military facilities, and landscapes throughout the region. 
 
Prior to joining Quinn Evans Architects, Kuhn Babin served as a cultural resource specialist for the National Capital Region of the National Park Service. Her expertise includes documentation to fulfill National Historic Preservation Act and National Environmental Policy Act requirements, as well as National Register determinations of eligibility. 
 
Kuhn Babin holds an M.A. in historic preservation (2005) from George Washington University and a B.F.A. in architectural history from the Savannah College of Art and Design
