The Baraboo Public Library’s expansion committee recommended hiring MSA Professional Services of Baraboo to serve as project leader, with Quinn Evans Architects handling design. The Library Board accepted the committee’s recommendation and voted to begin contract negotiations.

The Baraboo Public Library was designed by Baraboo native Louis Claude and Edward Starck. Library leaders are planning an $8 million to $11 million addition designed to meet the community’s needs for 50 years. Preliminary work will begin in March, followed by design work from April to August.
