The Elizabeth Lane Oliver Center for the Arts celebrates 70 years of operations this year.

According to an article by Huron Daily Tribune, the art center will host a variety of events throughout the year to celebrate the milestone. Quinn Evans Architects led the renovation of this historic property, creating a two level gallery, light filled classrooms, demonstration kitchen, and additional support space.

In November 2012, the art center became the first certified LEED Platinum commercial project in northern Michigan.
