On March 19th and 20th 2016, the National Building Museum’s Great Hall will feature an exhibit of projects that are designed or constructed by women and located in Washington, DC. Built by Women DC (BxW DC) features two Quinn Evans Architects projects – the Eisenhower Theater at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Genetics Laboratory at the Smithsonian National Zoological Park.  
 
BxW is a competition by the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation that honors women in design and construction. For BxW DC, 37 winners were jury selected among over 110 unique nomination of buildings, structures, and other built environments.
