Being brought up around the construction trades, Alex draws on a base of practical knowledge and early exposure to the complexities of architecture and building. During his education, as he began to explore different building typologies, he was continually drawn to the feelings embodied within historic buildings. Utilizing historic precedents to inform his process, Alex believes there is true value in looking at historic design to help define the path for future building.
