An accomplished, award-winning architect, David Benn has practiced internationally, taught architectural design, and served as a leader of the profession for decades. He is known for his studied, inventive approach to master planning and design, drawing upon the unique opportunities presented by each project and its context to create fresh, original solutions. David values the energy and insights achieved through close collaborations with clients, consultants, and contractors to create strong designs that reinforce community.
David’s experience includes master planning and design of educational facilities, libraries, civic buildings, housing communities, and mixed-use centers. Active in numerous professional and community-based organizations, he is highly regarded for his work in preservation, adaptive use, urban design, and neighborhood revitalization.
