Khanh Uong has a special talent for seeing aging, neglected buildings and envisioning potential beauty and new purpose. He takes pride in designing complex adaptive use projects that transform historic structures, often working with complicated spaces and a lack of as-built documentation. He enjoys working closely with clients to ensure that these unique projects reflect the character and mission they seek, while incorporating long-term value and sustainability.
Many of Khanh’s projects have earned AIA, Baltimore Heritage, and other design awards, recognizing their complexity and design excellence. He has completed numerous cultural and performing arts facilities, schools and higher education buildings, and office and mixed-use projects.
