Utilizing tax credits, our team transformed the Fiberglas Tower from an under-utilized mid-century building into viable, much needed housing for the public. The elegant and sleek design of the mixed-use building serves as a beacon for urban renewal, reinvigorating and strengthening the downtown Toledo community. Our team successfully nominated the building for listing on the National Register of Historic Places, the first such listing of a mid-Century modern office tower in Ohio. The resulting eligibility for historic tax credits made adaptive use of the top 12 floors for residential use possible. Our team designed the units to take advantage of the tower’s sleek glass facade resulting in elegant apartments with stunning views.
