Alfredo Davalos is a skilled architect who excels in each phase of design, from programming and the development of preliminary concepts through the delivery of technically detailed construction documents. Experienced in projects of all sizes, Alfredo is adept in balancing the aspirational “big picture” with multifaceted solutions that address context, sustainability, functionality, and the empowerment of users and communities.

Alfredo’s portfolio includes educational and cultural projects with an emphasis on learning and engaging, hands-on experiences. His contributions reflect a passion for community placemaking and equity, inclusion, and resilience.

Alfredo’s love of architecture is complemented by his interests in urban life, the arts, music, politics, social justice, and the environment. Originally from Mexico, he has traveled widely and lived in many places, enabling him to bring an awareness of diverse cultures, climates, and perspectives to his work as a designer. He enjoys working collaboratively with clients and team members, and experiencing design as an ever-evolving process from concept to construction.
