David Gavin

David’s deep knowledge of the sustainable design of building envelopes and systems enables him to lead teams in creating holistically designed, high-performance buildings. His projects consistently reflect well-sealed exteriors, durable materials, and efficient systems that consume significantly less energy than standard buildings.

David has completed many multifamily housing projects, including affordable housing, new construction, adaptive use, and tenant-in-place rehabilitations. He has also contributed to the design of educational facilities, cultural buildings, and commercial projects.

David’s career focus centers on sustainability, and the reduction of energy use and the carbon footprint of buildings. He has a particular interest in Passive House design and is a Certified Passive House Consultant. David believes that everyone deserves to live and work in spaces that are healthy, safe, and resilient.
