His portfolio includes residential, educational, non-profit, cultural, athletic, and mixed-use projects. His experience in adaptive use design includes the award-winning conversion of a historic grain elevator into a luxury residential building.

Jim’s most memorable projects involve historic properties that might have become obsolete or been demolished, but were instead transformed through rehabilitation and adaptive use. He believes that restoring these essential places enriches communities and revives economies.
