Throughout the life of a project, Steve focuses on capturing the essence of a client or community in the design of a space. He is known as a clear, critical thinker who is able to distill complicated issues into clear paths forward, often identifying unexpected solutions that create highly effective outcomes.
Steve’s diverse experience includes theaters and other cultural facilities, sports complexes, and higher education facilities. He manages complex renovation and adaptive use projects as well as new construction initiatives.
Steve finds the process of translating the spirit or culture of a client group or tenant into built form to be one of the most engaging and interesting aspects of architecture. He is adept in highlighting brand, identity, organization, culture, and history through unique architectural and interior design solutions.
