She specializes in projects for institutional clients including the National Park Service, General Services Administration, Michigan Department of Natural Resources, and University of Michigan.

Michelle brings detailed knowledge of historic exterior building materials and strengths in historical documentation, condition assessments, and GIS and database management. She has a particular expertise in the documentation and treatment of historic lighthouses on the Great Lakes, having prepared historic structure reports for light stations at Au Sable, Big Sable, Charlevoix, Gull Rock, Old Mackinac Point, South Manitou Island, Stannard Rock, St. Joseph, Tawas Point, and Thunder Bay Island in Michigan; and Raspberry Island in Wisconsin.
