Your Guide to Navigating Historic Tax Credits

By

Since our founding in 1984, Quinn Evans has been a champion of building reuse. We have prepared a guide to introduce building owners, community advocates, and municipal planners to the Federal Historic Preservation Tax Incentives program, a major source of funding for transformational building projects that improve our cities and save our natural resources.

Along with an overview of the program, the guide provides recommendations for determining whether a building is eligible for the program, applying to the program, and designing to the program’s standards. It also touches on additional tax credit programs that can “stack” with (provide additional financing on top of) federal historic tax credits.
