Our team collaborated with the Smithsonian Latino Center to create an inaugural exhibit within the National Museum of American History to recognize the achievements and contributions of Latinos to American culture. Featuring both artifacts and immersive digital experiences, we tied contemporary themes to historical content to provide a rich, interpretive black box gallery experience for patrons. An enticing entrance will draw visitors through an open and clear threshold, distinguishing the Latino Gallery from other galleries within the museum. Complementing the rotating temporary exhibitions, the gallery will feature a flexible, multi-use education area to inspire hands-on learning for visitors and school programs. The gallery is carefully designed to be universally accessible to meet needs of diverse audiences.
