In partnership with the Detroit Public Schools Community District and the City of Detroit, Quinn Evans is leading a team to restore the Davis Aerospace Technical High School to its original location in an airport terminal.

Davis Aerospace was established in 1986 at Coleman A. Young International Airport in Detroit, Michigan, with the goal of introducing students to the fields of aviation and aerospace. Although the program was relocated from the airport over the years, this new project will bring it back in innovative ways.

The renovation of the 53,000-sf terminal will provide nearly 200 students with hands-on learning in aviation and aerospace. The new facility will feature classrooms, science labs, offices, and areas dedicated to physical education, dining, and student support. Students can train in aircraft maintenance, flight operations, and drone technology within a real-world aviation-based environment.

The new campus is expected to open in the fall of 2026.
