Reservoir Park and Recreation Center is the subject of a building type study in the June issue of Architectural Record. Titled “Sands of Time,” the piece by Matthew Marani explores the site’s transformation from a derelict water treatment facility into a community amenity. The park retains distinctive industrial features, many of which are now accessible to visitors.

The article concludes a series of honors for the project, including a national Regional & Urban Design Award from the American Institute of Architects. Architectural Record’s June issue is currently on newsstands, and the article will be available online soon.
