Designing with Daylight: Innovation for Healthier Existing Buildings

This session will introduce the new research supported by an AIA Upjohn Grant and developed in partnership with researchers at the University of Oregon, Daylighting Design for Circadian Health in Existing Buildings. Quinn Evans sustainability specialist Denise Gravelle, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, will join University of Oregon Associate Professor of Architecture Siobhan Rockcastle to explore how strategic daylight retrofits, including in older and historic buildings, can enhance wellness and productivity by improving circadian daylight exposure.

Saakshi Terway, Associate AIA, LEED Green Associate, will participate in a signing for The Immigrant Architects Coalition's (IAC) City Shapers Vol. II: Stories of Immigrant Designers.
