In response to community needs and in alignment with the Johnston Square Vision Plan, this innovative new building will provide 109 units of workforce housing as well as a 9,000-sf space for the Enoch Pratt Free Library—the system’s first newly constructed branch in almost two decades.
The Hammond at Greenmount Park and Enoch Pratt Free Library Johnston Square Branch comprise the first phase of a multiphase development led by Somerset Development Company, ReBUILD Metro, and the Rebuild Johnston Square Neighborhood Organization. Future phases will include a new park fronted by the library.
This development will be one for everyone: beautiful buildings, world-class park space, and a state-of-the-art library. This community deserves it, just like every other neighborhood across Baltimore.
