
Quinn Evans associate and senior architect Julia Manglitz, AIA, LEED AP, APT RP, has been named the 2025-2027 President of the Association for Preservation Technology International (APT).
The announcement was made during the 2025 APT Annual Conference in Providence, Rhode Island. As President, Manglitz will help advance APT’s mission to advance both traditional and emerging technologies that support the long-term stewardship of the built environment. She will serve a two-year term as President.
With over 25 years of experience, Manglitz’s work includes more than 55 projects involving historically significant structures listed on the State or National Register of Historic Places, and she has guided the development of Historic Structures Reports and preservation treatment programs. Her involvement with APT, including her service on the Board of Directors and her recognition as an APT Recognized Professional, reflects her deep commitment and dedication to the field of preservation.
As she embraces her new role as APT's 25th president, Manglitz reflects on the organization's impact and the significance of this moment in her career. "APT International has had and continues to have the most significant impact on my development as a preservation architect," she said. "I am delighted and honored to serve as the 25th president."
